Howard Lehmann has been providing landscape services for over 40 years. Natureworks has been operating in the Pacific Northwest since 2009.

Howard has crafted his career in the Landscape Industry in gardens and landscapes of the West, from Southern California to Mammoth Lakes. Prior to coming to the Portland area, Howard and his company were crafting stunning natural landscapes in Mammoth Lakes California surrounding the Eastern Sierra Mountains. Developing his career in such a pristine natural area informed his sense of design and inspiration to bring nature. Mammoth Lakes is a unique community, primarily a tourist town of vacation homes. Since relocating to Sherwood, Oregon, Howard really enjoys homeowners bringing nature into their homes through natural landscaping design and maintenance services.

Howard was fortunate to be an apprentice at the beginning of his career in Switzerland. This landscaping training in Langenthal, Switzerland has proved invaluable to operating a successful business. He learned early on the best business practices and technical practical skills. His extensive training covered everything from soil structure, fertilizer studies, plant identification and use, drainage, and design concepts. The stunning natural backdrop of Switzerland merged his passion for landscaping and caring for environment.
